This website has been removed by it's owner for various reasons. One such reason is that VirginMedia have deployed processes that track use of their services, including visits to webpages, that are used for various profiling purposes. If this were just a secure and private in-house service provision function directly related to customer's accounts there would be no problem. However, VirginMedia are in partnership with several external profile-data collection companies that have a disturbing level of access to all kinds of data, including Javascript access to customer's supposedly secured "selfcare" account management pages, and the range of possible purposes for use of that profiling data is unknown and currently undeclared (to a satisfactory degree) by VirginMedia, or those external entities that VirginMedia allow such access to their customer's accounts and\or website traffic. VirginMedia's track record with regard to openess and "accuracy" about what they do and allow to be done with customer related data, and indeed customer's website visitor traffic, is sufficiently suspicious for this customer to regard VirginMedia to be engaged in the kind of "data-pimping" activities that have caused much concern amongst those aware of such practices. To this customer, this in an unacceptable breach of a fundamental trust between customer and service provider, and so, until a more trustworthy service provider can be found, this website and use of all other VirginMedia services is being reduced to a bare minimum, pending dismissal and replacement of VirginMedia as "not fit for purpose" and "untrustable" by this customer. As these links may be a tad old by now, I highly recommend you do your own research into what VirginMedia, and indeed you own ISP if different, are really doing behind their self-promoted "customer facing" statements, and who and what they are interacting with regarding your privacy and how much they may be selling you and your data for.
